Cancellation Policy

At Spiffy Home Cleaning, we understand that plans can change. We've designed our cancellation policy to be fair while ensuring we can maintain our high level of service for all clients.
Cancellation Timeframes
Free Cancellation
You may cancel or reschedule your cleaning appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled service time. We encourage you to give us as much notice as possible to help us serve other clients.
Changes Within 24 Hours - $50
Any changes made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment (excluding cancellations) will incur a $50 change fee. This includes:
  • Rescheduling your appointment
  • Significant changes to the scope of work
  • Address changes
Cancellation Within 24 Hours - $75
Cancellations made within 24 hours but more than 4 hours before your scheduled appointment will incur a $75 cancellation fee.
Cancellation Within 4 Hours - 50% of Service Fee
Cancellations made within 4 hours of your scheduled appointment time, including same-day cancellations, will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of your total service cost. This fee helps cover our team's time and travel costs when we're unable to reschedule with adequate notice.
Recurring Service Cancellations
If you decide to cancel your recurring cleaning service before the second scheduled visit, you may be charged the difference between our one-time cleaning rate and the recurring service rate for the initial cleaning. This ensures fair pricing for the service level provided.
Service Scope Changes
All quotes are based on the information provided during booking. If the actual cleaning requirements differ significantly from what was originally discussed (additional rooms, extra cleaning tasks, or property conditions that require more time), pricing may be adjusted accordingly. We will always communicate any changes with you before proceeding.
Our Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If we miss anything during your cleaning, we offer a free re-clean within 48 hours of your original service. Simply contact us within this timeframe, and we'll return to address any areas of concern at no additional charge.
Please note: No refunds will be issued after the service has been completed. Our commitment is to make things right through our re-clean guarantee.

Please provide your name, scheduled appointment date and time, and your preferred new date if rescheduling.
Emergency Situations
We understand that genuine emergencies occur. In cases of medical emergencies, severe weather, or other extraordinary circumstances, please contact us directly to discuss your situation. We will work with you to find a fair solution.
